"Before you run out to buy a new outfit, check your own closet. There's a great chance that there is a shirt or dress that you have never worn or rarely wear. Sometimes we treat shopping like a sporting event. At the end of the day, you should actually wear what you buy."
Seriously?! People honestly have clothing in their closet that they've never worn?! I am SOOO baffled by this statement. I have NEVER bought something and then let it hang in my closet.
Be honest...how many of you actually have something hanging in your closet that you've never worn...or even only worn once (besides that's bridesmaid's dress!!!)??

I have clothes that have never seen the light of day! I have a problem. I would buy things that would fit, barely. I would tell myself that I would lose 10lbs or so and it would look great. Well I never lost those pounds, so the clothes would get further and further to the back of the closet. I know wasteful!
I am sure that I have at least 1 shirt that I have never worn... I am waiting for when I am done nursing Abby to relook at all my clothes - it will be like a whole new wardrobe! And fall is alway great for a wardrobe change :) I can't wait to start wearing all my sweaters and stuff!
I have a skirt that I bought from Walmart...I guess I didn't try it on and it didn't fit once I got it home. I am finally able to fit into it but have not worn it yet! I think I bought it a year or so ago! Now that I think of it...I may wear it to school one day this week! :o)
I used to be bad about that. I would pick something up on clearance that I liked OK and decided later wasn't great. I now spend a little more sometimes, but I love what is in my closet and I wear it often.
I have one dress in my closet that I bought almost a month ago and haven't worn yet. It is a little shorter jean dress that doesn't work with leggings. I can't wear it to church because I work in the nursery with two year olds and I am always on the floor. It is a little too nice for every day. I am contemplating returning it because I just don't know where to wear it. It is not as if Joseph and I go places on dates that generally call for dressing up at all.
I'm guilty... I'm not sure how it happens, but it does. I wish it didn't!!
i guess i do, but it's mostly because i buy stuff on clearance at weird times of the year. so this winter i have a few new things to wear. it's kind of exciting that way for me :p
Guilty - and lots. It was a problem. And I am HUGE on favorite items, so I generally wear the same "go-to" clothes and forget about the other stuff.
