May 13, 2010 - Our last day as a family of four

May 13th was an almost surreal day. I knew it was our last day as a family of four, and I was, for the first time, unsure about the journey that we had been on. I'll admit it...I was scared to mess up a good thing!

You may remember this post that I wrote 3 days before we left...I think it sums up my feelings at that point very well!

Hunter and Graysen helping Lincoln zip tie our tubs closed.
Notice the scale on the floor...we weighed those tubs so. many. times!!!

We spent the evening at home together, just packing up the last of the donations, loading the van, and playing together. Lincoln loading the tubs in the van. I'm not sure how we got all of our stuff in there!

Our last pictures as a family of four! It was so late at night, but we just didn't want to fall asleep and miss any hours with Hunter and Graysen.

Lincoln had a stye on his eye! He woke up with it 2 days before we left.
I had totally forgotten this until I was looking through these pictures!

We did eventually fall asleep together (all in the same bed)...and Lincoln and I only slept a few hours before waking up to drive to the airport!!!
