She was blessed to have two wonderful teachers, Miss Megan, and Miss Becky - both of whom I love dearly!
This recital was the first one that her Daddy and I were able to attend (because we were in Ethiopia last year)!
I sat in the audience during each of her dances and cried. I was so proud. Not because she was the best one on the stage (although what mother doesn't think her daughter is the best one up there?), but because she was proud. She was excited to be dancing, she felt pretty in her costume, and she was proud of herself.
She had a big fan club, Grandma, Grammie, Papa, Aunt Kim, Jayna, Aunt Sissy, and of course "her boys" - Daddy, Chadie, Hunter, Silas, Blake.
Her brothers each gave her a flower, along with Aunt Sissy and Chad, and Grammie and Papa. Grandma had a balloon for her, and Daddy and I gave her a teddy bear with a matching costume.
I don't know if she'll always want to dance, but I do know that I pray she will always find an activity that she feels proud of herself doing, whether it's a sport or a profession.

I love you my princess. I enjoy watching you dance every day.
