This past weekend I was blessed to attend the January Created For Care Retreat in Atlanta, GA.
This was the second year I've gone, and again, it was fabulous!
It was different this year, being almost 2 years home with our sons.
This year, God met me in a much different way...
through dear friends,
quiet time with Him,
and women laughing together until we
(okay, probably just me)
almost peed our pants!
Here are some of my favorite memories of this year...

Airplane ride.
It always feels like a real escape when you get on a plane!
(yeah, I'm still totally a little kid!)

| Driving around and checking out the resort property. The quietness and sunshine did my body good. I actually parked and napped in the car for an hour with the sun beating down on me. Fabulous in January! |

| The view off our balcony! So awesome to watch the sun rise over the lake! |

| Meeting these lovely fellow AAI Mommas. Heather, me, Michelle, and Angie We've talked so much on the internet, being able to meet in person was a gift from God. |

| Best of all? These girls. ...and I'm gonna stop because I'll cry just writing about what each of them means to me. |

| Worshiping with 430 other women. Sometimes I just had to stop and sit and listen. There is just nothing like a roomful of women who share your heart and love for the Lord worshiping together. Absolutely nothing. |

| Spent a lot of time here...at the Sole Hope table. I'm excited to start sharing more about their work soon! |

| The tables in the dining room. All so beautiful. We were surrounded by beauty all weekend long! |

| The Created For Care verse for this year. He Makes all things beautiful in its time. Ecc 3:11 Above all, God really opened my eyes to the truth of this this weekend. Things I thought might never be Beautiful... My boys. Becoming Beautiful. My family. Becoming more beautiful by the day. |

| Missouri Sole Hope Ambassadors! We are so. excited. to be a part of this team with Asher and Dru. Looking forward to many great years walking next to them and seeing the Lord work in Sole Hope! |

Wish we were headed back in March! Guess we can sit, hold Spike, drink a coffee and pretend!
PLEASE let's do that. You don't know how tempted I was to purchase another ticket knowing that he'll be almost a month old...we TOTALLY could've gone!!! Too bad they're sold out now. :0(
