I Love You Goodnight

This is the last book in our bedtime routine. I try to mix it up a little bit to keep the kids on their toes, like saying "I love you like I love chocolate milkshakes" rather than strawberry...but they catch me every time.

I couldn't help but smile through the whole thing a few nights ago as I read it to four children laying in their bunk beds. I stood in the middle of the room and showed the pictures to four little faces. At the end, I got to say "I love YOU goodnight" four times, and I got to give four kisses.

I got three kisses back... I'd say that's a pretty good average, right?

Ashley, I am so happy for you all! You have been on my heart and as I've thought of you, I have prayed, and tried to follow your blog--or at least "catch up" when I could. Thanks for sharing your heart! We have friends here in our new town that have added to their family by adopting from Ethiopia and now have a son named Silas ;o)
