Graysen is Three!

Baby Girl,

Ah, how is it your birthday again?! This time of year brings with it so many memories! You are really our miracle baby. After losing your sister we prayed long and hard about having another child, and God laid it on our hearts that He had another special one for us...YOU! We prayed for you every day while we waited nine months to conceive you...in God's perfect timing! You gave us quite the scare while I was pregnant with you, which is actually why this blog began!

This year you have really become you! You are independent, you are sweet. You dream big and talk big. You hold your own against your three older brothers. You are so compassionate, and I can not wait to see where God will lead you using that talent that He has given you.

The thing I love the most about you right now is that you are always ready to celebrate life...whether it be an impromptu dance party, getting dressed up for an ordinary day, or singing at the top of your lungs even though no one is around to hear. I am so blessed to be able to spend every day with you.

Thank you for loving me unconditionally and showing me grace when I make a parenting mistake (as I do daily). You are always the first one to give me a hug, pat my back, and tell me "it's okay, Mommy, I love you". Right now you don't know what the means to me, but someday I hope you will.
