What are your reactions when you run into something that triggers memories of a "BFTP"?

A Blast From the Past
Last night I saw someone very close to one of my "Blasts From the Past". I hadn't seen her in at least 3 years. She looks great, seems great... We talked about her life, my life, but no farther than that. As I walked out of the business where I saw her my mind started to wonder... Oddly enough, I didn't ponder the "BFTP", but rather his family. I haven't seen or talked to his parents in probably 8 years. What ever happened to his brother? I thought about going back and talking to her again, expressing my interested in them...but decided it was definitely not appropriate.

I run away. Hide in the middle of a clothes rack. Suddenly become very interested in my children. Is that terrible??
But then, I always wonder, too - what DID happen to his brother?? ;)
