I have the worst luck with phones. No, seriously...the worst. I've driven off with them on top of my car, I've dropped them and shattered them, I've spilled my kids orange juice on them, I've left them out in the rain, and most recently, I've dropped them in the toilet.
I've been praying for God to show me the things that I'm too addicted to, things I'm too attached to, things that I may spend more time doing than I spend with Him. I've been hearing God calling me to simplify my life. I've been asking Him, 'how'?
Do you think He could have thrown my phone off the window seal into the toilet this morning as a wake up call..."Ashley, simplify your life, focus on your family...you don't need this phone, this constant attachment to the outside world."
So, I'm giving up my phone. For now. I'm not eligible for an upgrade for months, so, unless my phone decides to start working on it's own again, I'm unavailable...
*Okay, I know this post is a bit over the top...a little sarcastic. But in some weird way, I'm being serious. I really am without a phone, and I really think it may be for the better...

I "lose" my phone quite often and enjoy the freedom that comes from it. If you don't plan on using it for a few months, make sure to place your account on hold so you are only paying a couple dollars per month instead of your entire bill.
Enjoy being phone free!
Mine only works half the time so I sometimes am without, lol.
Hope things are still going well!!!
Funny! I just left you a message. So I guess you won't be getting it?
My phone sits in my car and I rarely go anywhere - so I pretty much am never on it. I don't really use it at home either! You might just find you enjoy being detached that way. Since everyone is so attached via mass media - like our blogs, FB, twitter, etc.
Blessings and excited that you might join Lexi for the August birthday challenge to raise money for the wells!

Well, I guess this three-week long game of phone tag we have going on is over? This means I won, right?!
